Classic Green

This house is located on a lush and leafy residential street—a neighborhood were people walk their dogs and wave to neighbors as they pass by. The concept was to create a front yard garden with feeling of privacy for the home that doesn’t cut-off interaction with the neighborhood.  Strategically placed plants provide screening for the house while capturing and framing views of the street. The plant pallet is a comprised of primary California native plants, designed to give a soft formal look. Working with rich greens and white flowers for the plants, and earthy grays for the hardscape, this landscape seamlessly integrates with the neighborhood.
