Classic Green
This house is located on a quite lush and leafy residential street. A neighborhood were people walk their dogs and wave to neighbors as they pass by. For this project the concept was to create a front yard garden that creates a feeling of privacy for the home without cutting off interaction with the neighborhood. This garden strategically places plants to provide screening looking onto the house while capturing and framing borrowed view of the street. The plant pallet is a comprised of primary California native plants, designed to give a soft formal look. Working with a pallet of rich greens and white flowers for the plants and earthy grays for the hardscape this landscape seamlessly integrates with the neighborhood.
